Aloe tenuior is a delicate aloe with masses  of yellow or red flower heads during the summer months, this indigenous aloe makes a beautiful display in the garden and attract many pollinators too! Here are some basic care tips to keep your plant happy and healthy!

  • Water requirements : Low to moderate watering, allow soil to dry out between watering, avoid water on leaves, drought resistant.
  • Plant position: High light, full sun. Planted preferably outside in the garden. Makes a wonderful hedge.
  • Planting: Year round, sandy or loam soil, acidic to neutral PH.
  • Flowering season: Summer months, red, orange or yellow blooms.
  • Special properties: Attracts pollinators, makes a good pot plant as well, medicinal plant.
